#CAT09 Reflections
There is no way I can put into words how this past week has affected me. I went to the Catalyst Conference in ATL Wed-Fri. I heard many amazing leaders like Andy Stanley, Malcolm Gladwell, Tony Dungy, Rob Bell, Chuck Swindoll, Louie Giglio, Francis Chan and many more. I heard amazing stories from Compassion International, KIVA, Hope International, Plywood People, Bethany Christian Services and many more. I will be processing this great material in the 10 pages of notes I took in my Moleskine.
However, this year was a little different than last year. Instead of being wrapped up in the “show” of Catalyst, I was able to focus on the content of what people were saying around me. I guess, I knew everything was going to be bigger and better, so in a way I knew what to expect. But God allowed me to be open and listening to the people around me. The next few days, I want to highlight what went on with these people. (Brian Metz, Nate Hogan, Joel A’Bell, Dave Daniels, Kim Jessie, Ben Jamison, Brad Ruggles) I’ll probably do a couple a day, but each deserve equal time. So begins the Catalyst process…hummmmmmmmmmmm………
