This Week @ M-Fuge
I’m at camp this week, in Charleston, SC, with 15 students and 3 adults (including myself). So are my good friends Nate and Terrace. God is doing some amazing things. He has begun a great work in many of our students and I really feel that tomorrow night will be a night of victory. (More on that when He delivers)
We’ve already had tears and fights and worship and tiredness and so much more. Camp is one of those things that you must experience in life, and you don’t have to be a teenager for it to have an affect on you. God is speaking to me about some things that I’m not ready to talk about yet. But, let me give you a few great quotes and thoughts I’m having from the week, so this post isn’t just filled with hyperbole :-)
Straight from the Moleskine…
- How do you reach the lost that do not know they are lost? (the gospel is foolishness to those who are parishing 1 Cor 1:18)
- Romans 5:8-God DEMONSRATES His love for us…It’s an acitve love!
- So many people (not just students at camp) hear the Word preached and walk out the door unaffected…this breaks my heart
- Is this what YOU believe or what your parents believe? Is it YOUR faith?
- Daniel 3:17-18, God is mighty to save me from this trial, BUT if He’s not willing, I’m going to trust Him anyway
- We trust God more when we are “lead” to easy circumstances
- Whose praise do people see in you?
- Am I risking my comfort for Christ?
